Cyclists cruise past fields of wildflowers on the Tour de Stooges route.
Success!
More than 600 cyclists participated in the 2012 Tour de Stooges, a 33 percent increase from 2011! Despite near-record temperatures and humidity, cyclists flocked to Highland to share the fun!
The St. Louis Cycling Club/Belleville Area Bicycling and Eating Society thanks all who rode and all who volunteered to make this fun for everyone!
The St. Louis Cycling Club/Belleville Area Bicycling and Eating Society will put on the 16th annual Tour de Stooges on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Lindendale Park, 2025 Park Hill Drive in Highland, Illinois. (See the About the Ride page for a map of Highland.)
The Tour de Stooges consists of five routes ranging from 17 to 64 miles — a ride intended for cyclists of all ages and skill levels.
Our routes are on lightly traveled rural roads in Southwestern Illinois, and the event is within easy driving distance of the St. Louis metropolitan area.
After the ride, enjoy lunch and all the slapstick comedy you can stand. Cygan-Delaney Catering of Highland, which has served our delicious lunch, will be back in 2012.
